Increase the effectiveness of Mosquito Magnet

A simple trick to increase the attractiveness of Mosquito Magnet mosquito traps.

These appliances attract mosquitoes by simulating the presence of a human being. Fertilized female mosquitoes need the proteins contained in the blood to complete the development of the eggs, which is why they bite us. Attractiveness is key to the effectiveness of mosquito traps.

Mosquito Magnet, in addition to the emission of carbon dioxide, can be equipped with powerful essences appreciated by the various species of mosquitoes: Lurex when tiger mosquitoes are also present (if you are stung during the day these insects are present) or Octenol when tiger mosquitoes do not are present.

An increase in the attractive effect can be obtained by using simple water. Mosquitoes need water for laying their eggs, only if immersed these continue their development cycle becoming larvae, pupae and then adults. To make Mosquito Magnet even more effective, place an egg trap on the ground just below the suction trumpet or where the attractant is inserted.
