This trap has been specifically designed to combat tiger mosquitoes, those that bite even during the day and are now widespread throughout Europe.

Position the trap away from people in a shady and cool place where mosquitoes like to rest during the hottest hours of the day.
Simply connect the plug and empty the trapping net every 2 months by replacing the Biogents Sweetscent™ odorous substance. The use of the trap is recommended from when the tiger mosquitoes begin to reproduce, i.e. from March/April onwards.
The BG-Mosquitaire we offer is the new and improved version of the model that has been on the market for a long time. It is equipped with a better mosquito suction funnel. The funnel has a safety lock which prevents mosquitoes from escaping as soon as it is turned off. So the captured mosquitoes will not be able to escape.
The BG-Mosquitaire trap has been specifically developed to be effective against tiger mosquitoes.
The proprietary combination of visual cues that attract the Asian tiger mosquito (Aedes albopictus), and the yellow fever mosquito (Aedes aegypti), are coupled with artificially created convection currents that mimic those produced by a human body.
A three-component Biogents Sweetscent™ odorous substance, also patented, makes the tiger mosquito trap much more effective than other traps of the same category.

The version of the BG-Mosquitaire with the addition of CO2 allows an enhancement of the capture rate reaching values four times higher than the version without CO2.
We recommend using the 10 kg carbon dioxide cylinders that can be purchased separately. Depending on how it is regulated (500g or 200g per day) a cylinder lasts from 3 to 7 weeks. In almost all climatic conditions, the emission of 200 g/day is sufficient to guarantee excellent results.
